Μια Μερσίνα..μα τι Μερσινα..!!!!

THE children's classic on offer to Evening Post
readers this week is The Adventures of the Wishing Chair by Enid Blyton.

Chair has the power to grow wings and fly

While two children are searching for a birthday present for their mum they come across a mysterious antiques shop that appears to be run by fairies.
There they find a magic wishing chair with the power to grow wings and fly.
After the chair rescues them from the shop and gets them home, they decide to keep it in their playhouse. The chair takes them to all sorts of magical places, from the cruel giant's castle where they rescue Chinky the Pixie, to an amazing party at Magician Greatheart's castle.
This whimsical tale is the next in our Children's Classics series of books available to readers over the next few months.
These new hardback copies of some of the best-loved children's stories are on offer to our readers for just £2.99.
We showed the book to Mersina Papageorgiou, who is 11 months old and lives with her mum Jo near Bristol's Harbourside.
Jo said: "Mersina enjoyed hearing about the adventures that the other little children were having.
"She loved the chair itself because she enjoyed thinking about all the adventures she could be having if she had one.
"I read the book to her at night before she went to sleep – she enjoyed all the whooshing noises as the chair flew to new adventures."
All you have to do to get your copy of The Adventures of the Wishing Chair is cut out the token in this week's Post and take that, along with £2.99, to your newsagent.
